Clothing - Diva Princess or Animal Killer?

Uploaded by AltGirlDelete on Jun 28, 2001

You're walking down the street in D.C. or some other major city and chances are you're going to see some little girl with leopard prints on her pants, or a little zebra halter top. Maybe you're like the usual person, dismissing the apparel as a significant component in female pop culture. But have you ever stopped to ponder that though these animal prints are usually syntheticly produced, they still promote the wearing of an animal's skin, therefore promoting the poching of animals solely for obtaining their skin and fur?!

These girls and women are walking around proudly showing their taste in clothing, which in itself is not a bad thing. But this obsession with animal prints, be it whatever animal they choose disgusts me! Girls as young as four years old are romping around in tiger striped pajamas.

Maybe I'm just one messed up 17 year old but I do not believe that it is one of the best decisions to wear all these animal prints.
