She sits and stares
Those beautiful tears rolling by;
Little did she realize
that she was in a world
where nobody bothers -
where nobody cares;
she sits and watches:
what else is she expected to do?
Her precious world was being torn down,
her country, her people too
Yet nobody cared
Nobody gave a damn;
Not one gave a backward glance
As she stood there staring -
Her fragile heart
now broken into two.
