I found my light
In the dead of the night
When hope was out of sight,
You showed the way and held me tight.
I ran mindlessly
I ran carelessly
But then, you stopped me
And showed the things that I could be.
As I look into your eyes
I see things vast as the sky
Just by those eyes, without saying a word
You showed me my life and what it's worth.
You sheltered me from harm,
Held me tight in your arms.
Never, not once, did you let go
You showed me love I never thought I'd know.
So how could I not love you so?
When you gave me so much, yet you don't even know.
So today, until all my life's tomorrows,
I'll show you love that never, not once, will let go.
