Illusion

It’s not hard to imagine
it’s not hard,
to throw an illusion in the air.
The simplest might be
to close our eyes
to life,
and squeeze
the heart
‘til we make it bleed.
Illusion
instead,
lets us
open to light
our pupils
and cry,
cry
until we turn those tears
into sobs of a spring.
Illusion
might be nothing but a dream
but, could u imagine life without dreams?
might be.
And maybe dreams are nothing more than our lives,
deceived.
Routine dressed up as charm,
but illusion,
that magic sensation,
that promises joy, peace and love
could it stop showing off?
could it abandon our strength?
Illusion
don’t cease existing.
If you go
if you walk away
mankind will die,
life,
will die.
