Technically, the game is based on the Gamebryo Engine, among others, at the Sid Meier's Civilization IV, Lego Universe and Fallout: New Vegas is used. Nevertheless, the graphics are not in all the elements a looker: So many animations are pretty stiff and some textures somewhat mushy. For this, the rustic scenery fits very well into the story. GuildWars 2 is not a screamer and the sound. The background music is pleasant, the dialogue is tolerable - but both are not just consistently available. Like so many online role-playing games of the Hearing is somewhat neglected. Too bad, because a good gaming experience needs stimuli for many purposes.
In terms of control, there is nothing to complain about. The game responds well to each entry. The interface are on the offensive and defensive skills and all character defining elements is clearly and quickly retrievable.
Like other MMORPGs, Trion Worlds must also deal with security issues. Because, unfortunately, the virtual gold that is earned here, on the internet at some worth real money. To prevent that the accounts of the avatars are cleared, the developers have added a coin block. At irregular intervals, it is activated at login. Objects can then destroy it or at the virtual traders to make money, if a code is entered, the applicant will be sent the game to a registered e-mail address.
GuildWars 2 clearly belongs in the Katagorie of recommended World-of-Warcraft-alternatives. During gameplay take the MMORPGs nothing, but Trion Worlds production has slightly ahead thanks to dynamic events. GuildWars 2 already offers many items that were in competition from Blizzard Entertainment only implemented over the years - and that is a plus. Be allowed to rest key players out but not because the spontaneous mass slaughter run the risk that the player used it. Hopefully, that Trion Worlds has some good ideas hidden behind closed doors.
